Jeremy Clarkson, one of the U.K.’s most recognizable television personalities, has disclosed that he has been diagnosed with cancer. The revelation came in the latest episodes of his Amazon Prime Video series «Clarkson’s Farm» this week, the BBC reported.

In the footage — apparently filmed during 2024 and 2025 — the 65-year-old presenter is seen breaking the news to longtime show regulars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland.

Clarkson described the diagnosis as «aggressive» but caught early, and revealed that part of his prostate had been removed as part of his treatment.

«It is cancer, and it’s aggressive, but it’s really early,» he said. «I promise I’ll be fine.»

Health has been a recurring theme throughout the fifth series, which opened with Clarkson discussing a heart procedure he underwent in October 2024. He had a stent fitted after doctors found one coronary artery was fully blocked and another was significantly narrowed.

Clarkson first rose to prominence as the face of the BBC’s «Top Gear,» which he co-hosted with Richard Hammond and James May from 2002 to 2015. The show became a global phenomenon, making Clarkson a household name well beyond the U.K. Following his departure from the BBC, the trio reunited for Amazon’s «The Grand Tour,» which ran for several years before wrapping up.

In 2021, Clarkson launched «Clarkson’s Farm,» documenting his efforts to manage his own property in the Cotswolds. The show became one of Amazon Prime Video’s most-watched titles and is now in its fifth series. He also currently hosts «Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?» on ITV.
