Eurasia Invest LTD, LLP, an agricultural company based in Kazakhstan’s Karaganda region, plans to begin domestic production of sprinkler irrigation systems developed by Valley Irrigation, a U.S. irrigation systems manufacturer.

Eurasia Invest is owned by Ivan Georgiadi, a prominent public figure in the region and a member of the Karaganda Regional Maslikhat, a local legislative body. According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture, the initiative is part of a larger investment push to expand irrigated agriculture in the country. Eurasia Invest has already signed agreements with Valley and with Imstalkon, a Kazakhstani manufacturer of steel structures.

This year, the company plans to expand its irrigated farmland to 10,000 hectares. Valley’s advanced irrigation systems are already being installed in its fields, using materials supplied by manufacturers in Karaganda, with local contractors handling installation.

Eurasia Invest also plans to roll out Valley’s AI-powered digital irrigation management platform, which combines satellite monitoring with field sensors. The system analyzes soil and crop conditions in real time to calculate precise irrigation needs.

In addition, the company plans to expand the capacity of its grain elevator in the village of Rodnikovskoye to 50,000 metric tons and build a second grain elevator in the village of Molodezhnyy. It is also continuing construction of modern vegetable storage facilities in both villages and expanding its potato farmland to 900 hectares. Separately, it has completed the first phase of a modern dairy farm, which is now preparing to receive its first cattle.

Eurasia Invest was founded by Georgiadi in 2009. He serves as a deputy of the Karaganda Regional Maslikhat and also sits on the Central Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, a state body representing the country’s ethnic groups.

Georgiadi also chairs the board of directors of Imstalkon, whose plant will manufacture the American-designed irrigation equipment in Kazakhstan. Imstalkon is 95% owned by AvtoTekhTsentr-Asia, whose ultimate beneficiary is Mikhail Konovalov — another deputy of the Karaganda Regional Maslikhat.
