Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan has undergone its first test of the dynamic facade lighting. Kursiv LifeStyle shows what Central Asia’s largest stadium looks like illuminated at night.
According to 24.KG, Central Asia‘s largest stadium lit up in multicolored lights in the evening, and a video of the test was published by Kyrgyzstan’s Presidential Affairs Department.
The footage shows the arena’s facade gradually changing colors and showcasing the capabilities of the modern lighting system.
Construction of Bishkek Arena is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2026. The new stadium will host the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games. The event is expected to be attended by heads of state visiting Kyrgyzstan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
Bishkek Arena has a diameter of 280 meters and stands 70 meters tall. Under the original design, the stadium was to have a capacity of 45,000 spectators, but it was expanded to 51,000 seats to host the AFC Asian Cup final. As a result, it will become the largest stadium not only in Kyrgyzstan but also surpass the new stadiums planned in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in terms of capacity.
