The company will be able to carry out transactions with government bonds

Freedom Finance JSC has been admitted as a member of the Uzbek Republic Currency Exchange (UZRCE). This decision was made by the supervisory board of the organization, according to the trading platform’s website.

Freedom Finance has been accepted as a member of the UZRCE in category B. This allows it to participate in trades, carry out transactions with government securities and conclude repo transactions.

The organization has become the first legal entity which isn’t a commercial bank to gain membership in the UZRCE.

It should be noted that Freedom Finance has been operating in Uzbekistan since 2018. The company is part of the international investment group Freedom Holding Corp., which specializes in offering investment services.

Previously, Kursiv.kz wrote about Freedom Holding Corp. acquiring the Kassa Nova Bank JSC in Kazakhstan. As expected, this move will expand the company’s potential for offering financial services in the country.
