Starting March 3, offerings of securities with settlements in Chinese yuan are available on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), according to a statement from the exchange’s press office.

«New modes for securities offerings are implemented to provide additional opportunities for securities market participants to attract investors,» the release stated.

Securities can be placed through specialized trading, subscription and public offering. In late February 2025, Hong Kong-based fintech company AnchorX received approval to issue stablecoins, a type of cryptocurrency pegged to the yuan, in Kazakhstan.
