Kazakhstan delivers more than 2,000 tons of aid to Afghanistan

Kazakhstan has delivered nearly 40 railcars of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, totaling more than 2,000 tons, according to the official Primeminister.kz website.
The shipment included food, medicines and essential supplies such as tents, blankets, cooking oil, flour and cereals. A separate flight is scheduled to deliver additional medical supplies. Officials said the effort reflects the ongoing friendship between the two countries and Kazakhstan’s support for the Afghan people. The total value of the aid package was not disclosed.

A delegation led by Kazakhstan’s Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin is expected to travel to Kabul early next week. The visit will also include a trade exhibition showcasing Kazakhstani goods.
Notably, last year, Kazakhstan sent 40 tons of aid — including food, clothing and other essentials — to Kyrgyz villages affected by mudslides.
