According to Kazakh Invest, a state-owned agency responsible for promoting foreign investment, Sinitech Industries from Croatia wants to build a dry milk production plant in Kazakhstan. The project is set to be implemented within the Koyandy industrial zone near Astana.

The plant is expected to be launched by the end of the year, reaching its full capacity in 2027. Once the new production facility is operational, it will create 53 permanent jobs, while its products will be exported across the Eurasian Economic Union, to EU member states, China, the UAE, Turkey and Africa.

Investors also intend to equip the facility with advanced technology for enriching milk with inulin, vitamins and other beneficial elements that facilitate detoxification of the human body. This technology, developed by the Kazakhstani company Agro Holding Bayan, is especially beneficial for those involved in hazardous production processes.

Sinitech Industries will be the technological partner for the project, providing necessary equipment and engineering solutions. Investors have also chosen Ecolean as the supplier of light, environmentally friendly packaging for dairy products. The Swedish packaging producer is interested in the project and is even considering partial localization of its manufacturing in Kazakhstan.

The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) has expressed its readiness to finance the purchase of equipment and the construction of infrastructure at the site.

The dry milk project was previously presented on Kazakh Invest’s platform as an investment opportunity valued at approximately $10 million. This promotion of the project helped the agency attract foreign investors, and the signing of an agreement is expected soon.

Sinitech Industries d.o.o. is a Croatian company specializing in the design and production of equipment for the manufacturing industry. Sinitech is headquartered in the city of Sisak and operates a representative office in Zagreb.
