Zhaltyrbulak reports $2.8 million in revenue

In 2024, gold producer Zhaltyrbulak, co-owned by Gulnar Dossayeva, wife of former Almaty mayor Yerbolat Dossayev, reported $2.8 million in net profit, following a $2.3 million loss in 2023, according to the company’s consolidated report published on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange website.

The company was founded in 2015 and holds a gold production contract for the Zhaltyrbulak gold mine in the Karaganda region.

Zhaltyrbulak also manages Altyntas Holding, which controls Vasilkovsky MMC and Boke. The latter is involved in gold exploration and production at several sites within the Boko-Vasilkovsky deposit in the East Kazakhstan region. In 2024, Vasilkovsky MMC completed its contract at the Vasilkovsky mine.

As of 2024, Zhaltyrbulak’s shareholders included: Bauyrzhan Jamalov (31.88%), Gulnar Dossayeva (25.67%), Berik Kaniyev (16.73%), Yuriy Pak (16.73%), Alimbek Saidullayev (7.42%) and Gaukhar Kapparova (1.57%).

Last year, Zhaltyrbulak reported $18.2 million in earnings, including $3.7 million in gross revenue (excluding prime costs). Total revenue from operational activities exceeded $3.9 million. The company’s assets declined by 6.3% to $13.9 million, while its capital rose 1.9-fold from -6.2 million to -$3.3 million, including accumulated losses of $3.7 million. Its liabilities decreased by 18% to $17.3 million, and its monetary assets increased 1.6-fold to $82,432.
