American KAZ Critical Minerals donates equipment to villagers in Kazakhstan

To honor the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a charity event was held in the village of Targyn in the Ulan district of the East Kazakhstan region. During the event, modern musical equipment was donated to the village club, while a Chevrolet Captiva was presented to the local medical clinic.

The initiative was sponsored by KAZ Critical Minerals LLP, owned by American company Cove Capital. On behalf of the company, the keys and equipment were handed over to the recipients by KAZ Critical Minerals CEO Alibek Kazbekuly.

«Today, an important event took place in the village of Targyn. It is aimed at improving the quality of life of local residents. As part of this initiative, modern musical equipment was donated to the village club, and a Chevrolet Captiva to the medical clinic. The project was sponsored by KAZ Critical Minerals LLP, founded by Cove Capital,» the company said in a statement on Instagram.

«On behalf of village residents and our district, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the company for their support. The new car and musical equipment will serve the needs of the community and will provide additional impetus for the development of the Targyn rural district,» said head of the Ulan district Arman Bekbossynov after the ceremony.

KAZ Critical Minerals continues active exploration work in the East Kazakhstan region. The company has already obtained several licenses for solid mineral exploration and is conducting drilling operations in a number of areas, with plans to accelerate its efforts in the coming years in pursuit of significant results.

In addition, Cove Capital, in conjunction with the national mining company Tau-Ken Samruk, is implementing a project to study rare and rare earth metals at the Akbulak site in the Kostanay region. According to data provided by Kazgeology, the site’s predicted resources are estimated at hundreds of thousands of tons, including elements such as yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, thulium, lutetium, tin and zirconium. These figures confirm the project’s significance and underscore its contribution to the formation of a sustainable raw material base for Kazakhstan and its international partners.
