Huvaydo momo, a woman living in the Fergana region of Uzbekistan, turned 130. She resides in the Karakum mahalla (local neighborhood community) of the Buvayda district and is now officially recognized as the oldest citizen of Uzbekistan.
Notably, her age had never been documented all these years. Only during the «No one will be left without documents» campaign was it discovered that the centenarian was born on Jan. 1, 1895. Following an appeal by lawyers, her details were officially registered.
Although 130 years seems impossible, experts note that such cases usually occur when a person’s documents were never issued or were lost. As a result, the person’s real age may be lower than what is stated in the papers.
