From Kazakhstan with love: UK to use Kazakh AI for driving tests

Kazakhstani IT company TrustExam.ai, locally known as Qylyq.kz, has reached an agreement with the U.K.’s Driving Instructors Association (DIA) to introduce its AI for driving tests in the country. The deal was finalized following the company’s participation in London Tech Week in June 2025.
Supported by Astana Hub and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the U.K., TrustExam.ai showcased its product at an exhibition in London. Their AI solution will now make driving tests for car drivers and motorcyclists in the U.K. simpler, fairer and faster. Applicants will be able to take tests without long waits, while exam centers will be able to process more candidates.
«DIA already leads the way in terms of the robustness and high standards of our practical driver and rider assessments, and in terms of the quality of our professional development provision for driver and rider trainers. With this new strategic partnership with TrustExam, we are able to offer even more robust, reliable and efficient solutions,» said DIA CEO Carly Brookfield.
TrustExam.ai serves over 2 million users annually and is part of Stanford University’s StartX accelerator program. The DIA is the U.K.’s largest professional body for driver trainers.
