A boy from Uzbekistan who didn’t manage to attend the Kairat vs. Real Madrid match received a ball signed by Real Madrid and Chelsea legend Claude Makélélé, delivered by Uzbek businessmen.

The story of a boy and his father who arrived in Almaty for the legendary match tugged at the hearts of many. They had bought tickets on Viagogo.com for $1,175, but they turned out to be fake — something they discovered only on-site. The dream of a boy named Armin was crushed, and the tears of the young fan, shown in a video, went viral.

Later, the founder of the Kazakh media outlet ZTB, Margulan Tursunov, said he had found the family, but they declined financial assistance.

«We are not looking for charity. We just wanted to be part of the celebration,» the family said.

In the end, Viagogo.com issued a refund. Now, Armin has a new dream — to see the legendary club in Spain.

The young fan also has another reason to be happy, as compassionate businessmen presented him with a ball bearing the autograph of Real Madrid’s legend.

Previously, Kursiv.media reported that Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé said the trip to Kazakhstan was not an easy one.
