Fans stage peace action during Dimash Qudaibergen’s concert in Barcelona

On Nov. 8, Kazakh superstar singer Dimash Qudaibergen held his first-ever solo concert in Spain. While Qudaibergen performed his original song «The Story of One Sky,» fans staged a touching act called «Elegimos la Vida» (Spanish: «We Are Choosing Life»).

According to DimashNews, the creative event was organized by Qudaibergen’s fan club in Spain.

«We bought many, many white gloves — white, because white is the color of peace. We asked the audience to wear the gloves and raise their hands when Dimash performed ‘The Story of One Sky.’ The white gloves symbolize Dimash’s main message — the message of peace. We also gave posters to the people in the first four rows, each with letters forming the phrase ‘We Are Choosing Life. Elegimos la Vida,’ so that Dimash could read it from the stage in both English and Spanish. All Dears choose life and peace, just as Dimash sings in one of his most iconic musical works,» the fans told DimashNews.

Qudaibergen’s fans highlighted the strong emotions that the song evoked.

«The Story of One Sky touched our hearts from the very first time we heard it. We cried a lot… Dimash is unique, and his extraordinary talent goes far beyond music — because he’s not just a musician. He uses his music and voice to convey his message to the whole world,» fans believe.

Qudaibergen arrived in Spain on Nov. 5 and received a warm welcome at Barcelona-El Prat Airport from fans from Spain, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador and Brazil.
