Dimash Qudaibergen, a world-famous singer from Kazakhstan, performed his first solo concert in Egypt. The show took place on Nov. 30 as part of «The Pyramids Echo Festival,» according to DimashNews.

The concert not only introduced Dimash to his African audience but also set a new milestone as the first solo show by a CIS performer at the Giza Pyramids.

«Welcome to our show! Thank you for coming! Thank you for your precious time!» Dimash greeted the audience at the beginning of the concert.

The magical atmosphere of the ancient plateau, illuminated by evening lights, became an integral part of the performance. Each song became a mini-theatrical production. In different pieces, the artist appeared in new roles: a charismatic hero in «Fire and Smoke,» a sensual lyricist in «Love of Tired Swans,» and a philosopher reflecting on life’s values in «When I’ve Got You.»

According to reports, the audience enthusiastically supported the artist — singing along, dancing, and sharing warm emotions in return. During the performances of «Umytylmas Kun» and «Mahabbat Ber Magan,» spectators turned on their mobile phone flashlights, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of unity under the open sky.

The concert program skillfully combined classical and contemporary music, ranging from «Olympico» and «Ave Maria» to the energetic «Be with Me» and «Give Me Your Love.» The sound of traditional Kazakh instruments — the dombra, kobyz and sybyzgy — made a powerful impression on the audience. The folk music segment included such pieces as «Stranger,» «Adai,» «Tau Ishinde» and «Durdaraz.»

Two weeks before the concert, the Egyptian news portal Aldiplomasy published an in-depth article about Dimash, exploring his musical style and the history behind his songs.
