Kazakh models — particularly men — are increasingly appearing on the world’s biggest fashion stages, signaling the country’s growing presence in the global fashion industry.

Paris Fashion Week spotlight

At the ongoing Paris Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 men’s collection, featuring two models from Kazakhstan.

The fashion house was represented by Erik Ilin and Alzhan Zhandarbeov. For Zhandarbeov, the show marked his debut with Louis Vuitton.

Distinctive runway looks

Ilin walked for the brand for the second time. His look centered on a bold, brightly colored coat, paired with a Louis Vuitton monogrammed ushanka-style hat and a light-toned bag.

Zhandarbeov wore a khaki parka with a fur-trimmed collar and classic gray trousers, accessorized with the brand’s signature bag.

Expanding international presence

A week earlier, Ilin also appeared in Ralph Lauren’s runway show.

Meanwhile, the Silence Models agency announced that its client, Alzhan, will take part in an upcoming Dior show.
