An unusual service – «big sister for an hour» – is being discussed on social media. A woman from Almaty has offered to help other women with a variety of everyday and emotional situations, from style advice to support during a difficult day.
The poster introduced herself as a certified «big sister» with 24 years of experience and clarified that she is referring to life experience, as she has two younger sisters, ages 24 and 15. She says she can be reached for an English lesson, help with shopping, wardrobe selection, or makeup tips.

She listed her skills as C1 English, B2 French, a background in 3D animation, as well as proficiency in Procreate and drawing. Services include assistance with documents in English, escorts to the clinic or dentist, trips to the cinema or museum, and an «objective second opinion.» This «sisterly support» costs 5,000 tenge ($10) per hour, plus taxi expenses. The woman clarified that the service is only for women.
The post quickly went viral, garnering 28,000 views. Commenters supported the idea, noting that many people truly need this type of communication and support.
