Spanish media have reported on an unusual project by fans of the world-renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen. Kursiv LifeStyle explains why they decorated a Spanish village to resemble a Kazakh aul.

According to the La Voz de Galicia outlet, the fans have been filming a video they plan to present to the artist as a birthday gift.

Around 25 people from different regions of Spain and other countries gathered in the Oia municipality and the Val Miñor Valley in Galicia to shoot a congratulatory video for Dimash.

The filming took place at the Moreiras farm, where scenes featuring horses and falconry were recorded. Traditional nomadic circular tent dwellings — yurts — were also used in the production. These sets and decorations temporarily turned the Atlantic coast into a «real» Kazakh steppe.

Spanish journalist Yolanda García is among the initiators of the project and a member of Dimash’s official fan club. García said she first learned about the singer on social media and later became interested in the culture of Kazakhstan. She believes that Qudaibergen’s music inspires many people and encourages them to learn about the traditions of his country.

The oldest participant in the project is 72-year-old Fuensanta Gómez. She became a fan of the artist three years ago and has already attended 16 concerts since then.

Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994. In 2026, he will turn 32.

Previously, Kursiv.media reported that Dimash and actress Samal Yeslyamova received TURKSOY awards.
