PE teacher from Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan, Anatoliy Visselskiy made it into the Guinness World Records after breaking the record previously held by an Italian athlete.
He managed to achieve the longest duration in the dead hang position using only two fingers — two minutes and seven seconds — surpassing the previous record held by Marcello Ferri of two minutes and one second.
Visselskiy was born in the small village of Makashevka, in the Tayinshinsky district. Since childhood, he has practiced various sports, including football, basketball, table tennis, and lapta — a Russian folk bat-and-ball game somewhat resembling baseball. He also trained in a small gym at his village school, as well as extensively on horizontal bars.
After graduating in Petropavlovsk, Visselskiy returned to his home village and worked as a PE teacher for six years. Currently, he teaches at Secondary School No. 5 in Petropavlovsk, where he strives to motivate students to exercise.
On his social media, the teacher often uploads videos of his training sessions and sporting achievements. Visselskiy frequently demonstrates different push-up variations, performs handstands and headstands and also trains with kettlebells and other weights.
