«Interstellar» and «Miss Sloane» star Jessica Chastain unexpectedly drew the attention of Kazakhstani social media users after posting a video to her Instagram account using the track «GO!» by Kazakh rapper Alikhat Tanatarov, who performs under the name hatikoali.
In the video, the actress poses in a gown while the song plays in the background. The post was dedicated to Chastain’s styling team. «Shout out glam team for doing the lord’s work,» she wrote.
Tanatarov said he was surprised and still struggling to believe the moment. The rapper shared his reaction on his Instagram Stories.
«I’m completely shocked that she filmed something to my sound. She’s such a renowned Hollywood star… This means a lot for an independent artist!» the performer wrote.
Many users said they were surprised by the choice of music, with some initially thinking the audio had been added by mistake.
