A brown bear attempted to break into a guest house where tourists were staying in Zhongar-Alatau National Park. Kursiv LifeStyle learned the details.
The incident occurred on May 9 in Attapkan Gorge; however, representatives of the national park have only now provided comment. The footage shows a steel door that has been crushed by the animal in an attempt to enter the house. No people were injured.
The park administration said that the Himalayan brown bear is among the species that rarely attack humans.
«Preliminarily, the bear came to the area due to the smell of food. No one was injured in the incident. We ask visitors not to feed wild animals if encountered. Also, do not leave food waste in the park. We urge everyone to strictly follow safety rules,» the administration noted.
