Doctors care for premature triplets
Kursiv.media previously reported that doctors at Almaty’s City Perinatal Center No. 2 cared for triplets born in critical condition at 35 weeks’ gestation. The newborns spent a month in the hospital and weighed between 1,390 and 1,690 grams at birth.
Earlier this year, the first set of triplets born in Kazakhstan in 2026 arrived in the Kyzylorda region at 32 weeks’ gestation. The babies were born with extremely low birth weights, weighing as little as 980 grams. Doctors spent two months caring for the infants before they were healthy enough to go home.
