Antwerp jewelers craft a massive diamond-encrusted gold ring for Trump

The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) has presented President Donald Trump with a custom ring featuring 321 natural diamonds to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the organization announced.
Ring inspired by Super Bowl championship jewelry
The ring was designed and created by Antwerp jeweler and diamond master David Gotlib. Inspired by Super Bowl championship rings, the design incorporates elements that reference the upcoming U.S. semiquincentennial.

Crafted from 18-karat gold, the ring is set with 321 natural diamonds and 75 additional precious stones.
According to the AWDC, the ring also symbolizes the longstanding trade relationship between Belgium and the U.S.
The organization said the gift was accepted by Bill White, the U.S. ambassador to Belgium. He said the United States was deeply honored to receive the «magnificent ring.»
AWDC highlights trade ties
Isidore Mörsel, chairman of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, said the U.S. has been AWDC’s most important trading partner for generations. He noted that a significant share of the natural diamonds sold in Antwerp ultimately reaches American jewelers and consumers. Mörsel said the ring was intended to celebrate the strong economic relationship between the two countries while showcasing Antwerp’s reputation for trust, craftsmanship and natural diamonds on the global stage.
