Iñaki Godoy, the rising star best known for his role in Netflix’s adaptation of One Piece, is set to arrive at Astana Comic Con 2026 as the festival’s guest. Kursiv LifeStyle explains where fans can see the actor.
According to the event organizers, the Mexican actor will be the second headliner and will take the main stage to answer questions. He will also take part in the photo and autograph sessions.
Godoy became famous after taking on the role of Monkey D. Luffy, the charismatic pirate captain in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of «One Piece,» based on the famous manga of the same name.
After its premiere, the show quickly became one of Netflix’s most successful releases, while Godoy became one of the streaming service’s most talked-about young stars. Along with One Piece, the actor is also known for his appearances in «The Imperfects» and «Who Killed Sara?»
Comic Con Astana is scheduled to take place in the capital of Kazakhstan from Aug. 6-9, 2025. As in the previous year, the festival will span two venues. The main stage and meetings with headliners will be held at Barys Arena, while the Alau Ice Palace will serve as the exhibition venue.
Previously, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, best known for playing Jaime Lannister in the HBO series «Game of Thrones,» was announced as the event’s headliner.
