Kazakhstan’s first licensed cryptocurrency exchange, Pax Finance, has announced its integration with the mobile app of Alatau City Bank, which is owned by the country’s richest businessman, Vyacheslav Kim. The integration allows the bank’s clients to fund their Pax Finance accounts directly from their bank cards through the banking app.

According to the company, users will no longer need to visit third-party websites or manually enter their payment details. Account funding will take place through an integrated service within the bank’s ecosystem. All transactions are processed through a licensed platform and comply with customer identification and verification requirements.
Part of Kazakhstan’s crypto hub strategy
Pax Finance CEO Aslan Beispekov said the integration is part of the company’s broader strategy to build a regulated digital asset infrastructure in Kazakhstan.
«We are implementing the president’s directive to transform Kazakhstan into Central Asia’s crypto hub. Integration with Alatau City Bank is part of our strategy to create the most convenient and fully compliant infrastructure for working with digital assets,» he said.
In the initial phase, users will be able to quickly convert fiat currency into digital assets. The company said it plans to introduce fast withdrawals in the next stage to reduce round-trip transaction times.
First crypto exchange license
In early July, the National Bank of Kazakhstan issued Pax Finance the country’s first cryptocurrency exchange license. The license authorizes the company to buy, sell and custody digital assets, as well as open branches and install cryptocurrency ATMs.
Pax Finance was registered in Astana in May 2026. Its founders include financier and author of the Telegram channel Finmentor.kz Arman Batayev, one of Kazakhstan’s crypto industry pioneers Azat Bekmagambetov, and entrepreneur Oryngul Eszhanova.
Alatau City Bank is controlled by Kaspi.kz co-owner Vyacheslav Kim. According to Forbes, his net worth is $7.8 billion, making him Kazakhstan’s richest businessman.
