Renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen has released a new original song, «Yazgı» — the artist’s first composition in Turkish. He announced the release on social media, thanking fans around the world for their longstanding support.
«We were taught from childhood that an artist must win the love of their audience. But no one told me that sometimes that audience is on the other side of the world. That’s why my new original song in Turkish, “Yazgı» is being released today,” Qudaibergen wrote in a social media post.
He also thanked the fans who have stood by him for the past 10 years and invited them to choose the language for his next song.
Many fans have linked the song’s release to Qudaibergen’s immense popularity in Turkey. He has long enjoyed a large Turkish fan base, and in May 2024 he performed a solo concert at Istanbul’s Beşiktaş Stadium, drawing an audience of thousands.
Dimash composed the music, while the lyrics were written by Orken Abdirov. He also produced the track, with the arrangement created in collaboration with Renat Aubakirov.
«Yazgı» can be translated from Turkish as «fate.» Fans from around the world praised the new release in the comments and have already begun suggesting languages for his next song. The most popular suggestions include Spanish, Turkish, Thai and German.
«Seems like I’ve got a new favorite song. Could the next one also be in Turkish?»
«Prince, you have no idea how much we love you,»
«Absolutely beautiful! It brought me to tears!» users commented.
