Ye (Kanye West) concerts in St. Petersburg have been officially canceled. Kursiv LifeStyle looks at the details.
Concert organizer SAY Agency posted an official statement on Telegram. The agency said ticket refunds will be available starting Oct. 12. Details of the refund process are expected to be announced later.
«Say Agency is very grateful to everyone who has been with us over the past month and a half, supported us, worried and wholeheartedly waited for these concerts, as we did. We remain in touch and continue to work,» the agency said.
Ye’s concerts in St. Petersburg were announced on Aug. 17, with the shows scheduled for Oct. 10 and 11 at Gazprom Arena. Tickets went on sale soon after, but a week later, the venue said it had not signed an agreement with the organizers.
After that, it was unclear whether the concerts would take place. SAY Agency said the shows would take place on the original dates and that it was still in talks with the venue. At the same time, Gazprom Arena reported that the shows could be postponed. Throughout September, the organizers continued to say that the concerts would take place. However, on Sept. 29, tour partner Access Opera announced that the shows were canceled.
Nevertheless, West may still perform in Russia. According to Russian media outlet Vedomosti, the rapper could appear in Moscow on July 10, 2027, according to a preliminary announcement reportedly made by Turkish agency ILS Vision.
