James Cameron, creator of the «Avatar» film universe and director of «Titanic,» is set to give a masterclass in Central Asia. Kursiv LifeStyle looks at the details.

Cameron will hold a masterclass titled «Creating Worlds» in Kyrgyzstan, Gamma Media CEO Islam Satarov said.

«Director, screenwriter, producer, inventor and deep-sea explorer. National Geographic Explorer at Large and Hubbard Medal laureate. In 2012, he became the first person to reach Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench on a solo dive. How does he envision our future? What does he see before anyone else? Which discoveries inspire him, and which changes concern him?» Satarov wrote in an announcement.

The date and venue have yet to be announced, but preliminary arrangements for the visit have already been made. Satarov stressed that this would be Cameron’s only event in Central Asia.

Cameron has directed some of the most famous and highest-grossing films in cinema history, including «The Terminator,» «Aliens,» «Titanic» and the «Avatar» series.

Previously, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Shakira is set to perform in Kyrgyzstan following the opening of Bishkek Arena.
