He has revealed some plans for the country

The founder of the Tesla company Elon Musk said hello to Kazakhstan during a presentation of Model S Plaid at the plant in Fremont. This video has been published in the Telegram channel of Beybit Alibekov, a prominent blogger from Kazakhstan.

Mask was asked about his projections for Supercharger charging stations in Kazakhstan. He replied that charging stations might appear in the country by the end of this year or next year. Tesla Supercharger is a technology of fast charging developed by Tesla for its electric cars. The businessman was also asked about a plant in Kazakhstan. According to Musk, the company’s top priority is two gigafactories in Berlin and Texas.

On May 21, Elon Musk announced that Tesla will officially step into the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries. He also noted that Russia is considered as a potential venue for a new electric car production plant. “I think we’re close to establishing a Tesla presence in Russia and that would be great. And more broadly, also in Kazakhstan and neighboring regions. It’s important for us to support Tesla supporters like yourself,” he said.

This was not the first time when Musk has mentioned Kazakhstan. In March 2019 during the presentation of Model Y in the U.S. some Kazakhstani attendees asked Musk if it was possible to build charging stations in Kazakhstan. Musk noted that Tesla has strong support in Kazakhstan. «I think we will build superchargers there,» he replied.
