According to recommendations by his medical staff

The revaccination of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled for January 2022, according to Berik Uali, the president’s spokesperson.

As the Uali noted, the president is going to use one of the vaccines readily available for people in the country.

«I’ve got loads of questions about President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s attitude toward revaccination against COVID-19. According to recommendations from the medical staff the leader of the state is going to get his additional injection in January 2022,» wrote Uali on Facebook.

In April 2021, President Tokayev received two shots of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V, produced by the Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex.

To reach most of the Kazakh population with vaccination and revaccination against COVID-19, the president has instructed the country’s government to acquire vaccines from abroad and begin producing vaccines inside the country.
