Konstantin obtained the license for participation at the Olympic Games in Paris in November 2023 upon the results of the 2023 Asian Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Korea. This is the first time for Konstantin to represent Kazakhstan at the Olympic Games. Arina got the license a day prior after placing third at Rifle 50m 3 Positions shooting.
«I have carefully prepared for the competition. When my girlfriend Arina won her license a day earlier, I decided, ‘I can do it too. There is no way I may fall behind her,» Olympian reveals the details in the interview to the Way to Olympus program by the Sports Development Office’s media office.
The sportsman gave Arina a ring on his birthday while walking around the city.
«After competitions, we went for a walk around the city. When we were in the park, I could not believe my eyes. Konstantin stood in front of me on one knee, presenting a ring. This is the moment I will never forget. Now I am happy,» the Sports Development Office quotes the sportswoman.
