Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, who arrived in Kazakhstan to attend the BeWoman forum, visited the Ihlas Museum of Folk Musical Instruments in Almaty.
The Almaty Museum Association staff gave model and nutritionist Maye Musk a tour of the museum and introduced her to a comprehensive collection of musical instruments from 50 countries.
In addition, Musk listened to a performance by the Steppe Sons and even played music together with the band.
After the tour, Musk thanked Lyazzat Sagyndykova, manager of the Almaty Museum Association, wishing her all the best.
The famous inventor’s mother came to Kazakhstan not only to admire the local culture and history but also to participate in the BeWoman Central Asian Forum on Oct. 17.
Prior to the event, a scandal broke out when a forum organizer offered Almaty stylists to work with speakers, including Maye Musk and Russian prominent female entrepreneur Tatyana Bakalchuk (Kim), without remuneration.
