World-renowned Nomad Stunt performers join cast of ‘Golden Horde’ series

Kazakhstan’s renowned Nomad Stunts team has begun preparations for the filming of a documentary-drama series about the Golden Horde, according to State Counselor Erlan Karin, who recently visited the stunt performers’ training facility.
Nomad Stunts, a team of professional stunt performers recognized for their work in world-class productions, has contributed to major projects such as Netflix’s «Marco Polo,» Disney’s «Mulan» and Apple Studios’ «Napoleon.» For this latest project, they are preparing historical scenes and choreographing complex battle sequences. Training is underway, focusing intensively on historical weaponry, horsemanship and realistic fight choreography.
Acclaimed Turkish film and television director Emre Şahin, known for his work with Netflix and National Geographic, will direct the series. With extensive experience in historical productions, Şahin aims to combine historical accuracy with an emotional narrative that deeply resonates with viewers. The team will employ unique cinematic techniques to immerse audiences in the past and depict battle scenes with striking realism.
Filming is set to begin in Kazakhstan in March. The project will showcase Kazakhstan’s rich historical heritage to a global audience. The collaboration between local stunt professionals, international directors and an experienced creative team is expected to elevate the production quality to a world-class level.
