Freedom Finance expands business into Kyrgyzstan

Freedom Broker has officially launched operations in Kyrgyzstan, marking its entry with a grand opening ceremony in Bishkek.
The event was attended by Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, Freedom Holding Corp. CEO Timur Turlov and representatives of Kyrgyz public agencies, development funds, banks, major local companies and investors.
«Freedom Broker has come to Kyrgyzstan not just as an international player, but as a reliable partner for local investors, businesses and individuals. The company aims to build long-term relationships within the Kyrgyz market and create the conditions necessary to attract investment to the country,» the company said in a statement.
The ceremony also included the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and Freedom Holding Corp. The agreement aims to support the development of the stock market, promote the digitalization of financial services, and enhance investment culture in Kyrgyzstan.

«Today we are taking another important step toward strengthening our position in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia as a whole,» Turlov said. «Our goal is to bring the best technologies, advanced service and professional expertise to this market. We are sincerely interested in the development of Kyrgyzstan’s financial system. That’s why we’re ready to support local companies in going public, cooperate with the regulator to improve the national legal framework, and actively participate in programs promoting financial literacy.»
Medet Nazaraliev, head of Freedom Broker in Kyrgyzstan, said the company offers clients «a direct path to knowledge, opportunities and global financial markets.»
«We are here to help every resident of Kyrgyzstan — students, entrepreneurs and investors — access the stock market,» he said. «We are currently implementing digital products of Freedom Broker and adapting them to local requirements.»
Freedom Broker received its brokerage license in Kyrgyzstan in August 2024 and now regularly participates in trading sessions on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange. The new brokerage firm aims to provide retail investors, entrepreneurs, institutions and the broader financial sector with new investment opportunities. Thanks to its digital solutions, Kyrgyz investors will gain direct access to international stocks, bonds and other financial instruments on major global exchanges, including the NYSE, Nasdaq and LSE.
