American CEO visits Kazakhstan to discuss business with investors

Jay W. Roth, the owner of the entertainment and hospitality company Venu Holding, which operates concert venues and restaurants in Colorado, visited Kazakhstan to meet with local investors during the first-ever non-deal roadshow in Kazakhstan for an American company, organized by Freedom Broker.
Roth, whose company is valued at $538.6 million, came to Kazakhstan to meet investors in Almaty and Astana. He also gave an interview to Vadim Merkulov, the director of the analytical department at Freedom Finance, in which he discussed how his business operates.
According to Roth, the holding is currently implementing a series of projects worth a total of $1.2 billion to meet growing market demand for new concert venues in the U.S., driven by record ticket sales and the constant emergence of new artists.
«I’ve been a music fan my entire life. Prior to starting Venu, I owned Roth Premium Foods, the third-largest prepared food manufacturing company all over the U.S. So, I had the opportunity to visit lots and lots of venues and learn. And I saw an opportunity to build concert venues in the U.S. but my background is in the food space,» Roth said.
Venu Holding is an entertainment company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It owns and operates music venues, restaurants and other entertainment properties in the U.S. For instance, Venu Holding runs a network of concert venues under the brand Notes Live. The company plans to expand its operations by opening new venues in Texas and Oklahoma within the next two years.
Jay Roth founded Venu Holding in 2017. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in November 2024. Since then, Venu’s share price has risen from $10.80 to $14.21 per share (+31.6%).
