Shares of Timur Turlov’s Freedom Holding Now Available in American ETF

The American exchange-traded fund First Trust Financials AlphaDEX (FXO) has added common shares of Freedom Holding Corp. (FRHC) to its index. As of now, FXO holds 185,000 FRHC shares, which make up 1.22% of the fund’s total portfolio.

FXO is a modified equal-weighted index that selects stocks from the Russell 1000, an index tracking the top-performing U.S. financial sector companies. The fund uses the AlphaDEX methodology to determine which securities to include.

FXO is traded on the NYSE Arca, a Chicago-based exchange operated by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The fund is managed by First Trust, an American asset management company. FXO aims to replicate the performance of the StrataQuant Financials Index.

As of the last trading session, one FXO share was priced at $57.19, reflecting a 0.87% increase (+$0.49), according to Tradernet.

On July 3, FRHC stock rose by 2.72% (up $3.80), closing at $143.33 per share. Overall, the stock has climbed 9.4% year-to-date.

In addition to Freedom Holding Corp., FXO also includes shares of Interactive Brokers, Robinhood Markets, T. Rowe Price, Goldman Sachs, Coinbase Global, Bank of New York, Citigroup and Warren Buffett‘s Berkshire Hathaway.

In May 2025, FRHC announced its inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index, which tracks the largest publicly traded U.S. companies. This addition took effect after the annual rebalancing of the index, which occurred following the close of trading on June 27, 2025.

For the 2025 fiscal year (April 2024 to March 2025), Freedom Holding Corp. reported $2.1 billion in revenue, marking a 23% year-on-year (YoY) increase, and a net profit of $84.5 million. The company’s total assets also rose from $8.3 billion to $9.9 billion, a 19% YoY increase.

In Kazakhstan, Freedom Holding operates under the brands Freedom Broker (a member of KASE) and Freedom Finance Global (a member of AIX). The holding also owns several other subsidiaries in the country, including Freedom Bank, Freedom Insurance and Freedom Life.
