UFC star Shavkat Rakhmonov shows off his new luxurious ride

Kazakhstani UFC star Shavkat Rakhmonov posted a photo of himself with his new car — a Mercedes-AMG G 63 — on Instagram.
«If you don’t make such a gift to yourself, no one will take care of you,» Rakhmonov wrote in the caption.
According to the official Mercedes-Benz dealer in Kazakhstan, the price for a new vehicle starts at $275,673. On Kolesa.kz, a popular online platform for buying and selling cars in the country, prices range between $325,447 and $409,671, depending on the equipment package.
The 30-year-old Rakhmonov fights in the welterweight division (77 kilograms). He is currently recovering from knee surgery done in May. This was the reason behind the athlete’s withdrawal from a title fight against American athlete Belal Muhammad, even though Rakhmonov was the main challenger. He was ultimately overtaken by Australian fighter Jack Della Maddalena, who went on to take the title from Muhammad.
Currently, the first in line to fight for the title is Russian fighter Islam Makhachev, a former champion in the lightweight division (70 kilograms). In a recent interview with Ulysmedia.kz, Rakhmonov said that he intended to fight for the title against the winner of the bout between Maddalena and Makhachev, even if it meant waiting until next year. However, it is still unclear whether he will retain his status as a title contender.
The Kazakhstani fighter has competed in 19 MMA bouts, seven of them in the UFC. Rakhmonov remains undefeated, with 18 of his 19 victories coming before the final bell.
The last time Rakhmonov appeared in the Octagon was on October 7, 2024, when he defeated Irish fighter Ian Garry by unanimous judges’ decision. He earned at least $450,000 from this fight, including a guaranteed purse of $350,000 and a $100,000 win bonus. On top of that, Rakhmonov received a share from pay-per-view sales, although the exact amount has not been disclosed. According to Givemesport.com, Rakhmonov’s total payout for the fight was $1.1 million.
