Kazakhstani tycoon gifts Oura Rings to 150 executives

Kazakh businessman Aidyn Rakhimbayev has gifted Oura Rings — smart health and sleep-monitoring devices worth $400 each — to 150 key executive managers of his construction giant BI Group, as well as to friends, relatives and even former classmates.
In a social media post, Rakhimbayev called the gadget his «most valuable thing in terms of efficiency.»
«IImagine, the ring can detect even diseases – before the first symptoms. And yes, Oura gives recommendations and motivations to improve on a daily basis,» he wrote.
According to Rakhimbayev, the device — developed by Finnish engineers — tracks over 20 health metrics, including heart rate, body temperature, blood oxygen levels and sleep quality. Using artificial intelligence, it analyzes circadian rhythms, sleep phases and even detects early signs of illness. It also offers personalized health and lifestyle recommendations.
As of 2024, BI Group has been expanding its operations, with projects in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. The company also announced new developments in the U.S. and continued its engagement in multiple projects in the UAE.
