Kazpost, the national postal operator in Kazakhstan, has established a joint venture at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in conjunction with Sistem Yatirim Lojistik Ltd., a company owned by Hüseyin Barlin, a Turkish citizen.

The joint company, Qazpost – Sistem Ltd., was registered at the AIFC on July 24. It will be engaged in warehouse leasing and management, as well as transport and forwarding services.

The company is headed by Barlin, whose company, Sistem Yatirim Lojistik Ltd., has also been registered with the AIFC since 2024. The Turkish businessman also serves as chairman of the board and owner of the Turkish logistics group S Sistem Lojistik, according to his LinkedIn profile.

In January 2025, during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazpost CEO Assel Zhanassova announced that the company would build a 15,000-square-meter multimodal warehouse at Aktobe Airport. The project was planned in partnership with the Turkish S Sistem Lojistik.

Later, Barlin informed a representative of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs that his company planned to invest $100 million in the construction of a network of modern logistics and warehouse terminals in Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and Aktau.

The S Sistem Lojistik group of companies has been operating since 1999. It provides services in customs warehouse management, airline logistics, and both domestic and international transportation. The company owns 100,000 square meters of warehouse space, including facilities at Turkey’s four largest airports: Izmir, Ankara, Antalya and Istanbul.
