Nearly every bank now offers its own mobile banking app. To compare which ones are the most convenient according to users, Kursiv.media has compiled a ranking of banking apps based on user feedback. Among the leaders are the apps of Kaspi Bank, Bank RBK, Freedom Bank and Bereke Bank.

The assessment of the convenience and popularity of mobile apps from the largest Kazakhstani banks is based on user ratings in the two most popular app stores. On Google Play, only the Bank RBK app has the highest rating — 4.9 out of 5. In the App Store, several banks share that top rating: Kaspi Bank, Freedom Bank, Bank RBK and Bereke Bank. Given the number of reviews, Kaspi Bank can be considered the de facto leader among iPhone users. More broadly, users on both platforms rate the mobile solutions from these financial institutions highly.

In the middle tier, with scores above 4 on both platforms, are Halyk Bank, Alatau City Bank and Home Credit Bank.

Among the lowest-rated apps on Google Play are those from ForteBank, Eurasian Bank, and Altyn Bank. In the App Store, the lowest scores went to Otbasy Bank, Altyn Bank, and Nurbank.
