BTS, the K-pop boy band, has surpassed the 2 billion-view milestone on YouTube on the music video for «Dynamite,» their first fully English-language track released worldwide in 2020, according to The Korea Economic Daily (KED). It is also the group’s first video to reach this achievement.

The video, uploaded on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel on Aug. 21, 2020, hit the mark on Sept. 4.

According to the KED, this is not the only achievement «Dynamite» received. For instance, the Apple Music streaming service placed the song in 34th position on its worldwide most-streamed list.

The single also made history as the first Korean song to top the Billboard Hot 100 upon release, holding the No. 1 spot for three consecutive weeks. Additional honors include «Best Song» at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards and «Top Selling Song» at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
