Gwyneth Paltrow has introduced a new fashion label called Gwyn, which was unveiled during New York Fashion Week. The actress and Goop founder said the line reflects her personal style and focus on minimalism and elegance.

Vogue reports that Gwyn builds on Paltrow’s earlier venture, G. Label. She began it nine years ago with just four pieces before evolving it into a standalone brand. For the debut capsule, she partnered with designer Sofia Menasse, who previously worked at The Row and Maison Margiela. Menasse now holds the title of creative director at G. Label.

The inaugural fall collection offers 36 pieces, including cashmere jackets, dresses, trousers, denim shirts and wool sweaters. Italian artisans produce the designs, which Paltrow says draw inspiration from travel, art and everyday life.

Looking ahead, Gwyn will release new items in monthly drops through Goop’s website and its eight retail stores.

Goop, founded by Gwyneth Paltrow in 2008, is recognized for wellness and lifestyle offerings as well as its bold, conversation-starting products, such as the «This Smells Like My Vagina» and «Hands Off My Vagina» candles.
