
South Korean vehicle manufacturer Kia launched sales in Kazakhstan of the limited Tulpar Sorento and K5 edition, inspired by the mythical winged horse in Turkic mythology that symbolizes speed, freedom and justice in the Kazakh epos. According to the brand’s website, the models are equipped with unique design solutions, premium options, and contemporary technology. Kia representatives highlighted that the series combines Kazakh culture and traditions with car design.
Kia Sorento Tulpar

The limited Sorento is based on a popular trim level and comes with a number of exclusive features. The interior includes a suede headliner, dynamic ambient lighting and a panoramic roof with a sliding sunroof, along with pedals fitted with metal pads.

A 12-speaker premium Bose audio system delivers high-quality sound. The exterior is enhanced by 20-inch wheels and a Tulpar badge on the front fenders.
The Kia Sorento Tulpar starts at 24 million tenge (approximately $44,572), making it more affordable than the model’s top trim.
Kia K5 Tulpar
The Kia K5 Tulpar sedan stands out with a sleek silhouette and improved aerodynamics. The new engine lineup, paired with optimized transmissions, allows the model to perform confidently both in city traffic and on the highway. The limited edition is based on the popular Luxe 2.0T trim.
- The car is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 240 hp and 353 N·m of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
- The exterior features 19-inch alloy wheels and LED projector headlights, previously available only on the top trims.
- The interior is offered in two options: classic black or a new premium red.
- Other available features include leather seat finishing, a premium JBL audio system, a 360-degree view system, a panoramic roof and ambient lighting.
The price starts at 19 million tenge (approximately $35,287), making the Tulpar edition more affordable than the K5’s top trim while retaining all key features.
