The Backstreet Boys have shared photos from Kazakhstan’s capital after their concerts in Almaty and Astana. One of their activities was unwinding in a local steam bathhouse.
Photos of four group members wearing sauna hats, steaming and plunging into a pool were uploaded to the boy band’s Instagram.
«Found some time to kick back and relax in between our shows in Kazakhstan,» the caption read.
Earlier, Malik Khassenov, a producer at Astana Concert, posted a photo from the steam bathhouse where he posed with the group members, wearing a shapan (a traditional Kazakh coat) and holding a sauna whisk. The group later shared more detailed images.
«The guys were thrilled. It was their first time visiting a steam bathhouse, taking steam with a whisk and diving into an ice-cold plunge pool,» Khassenov wrote in the comments.
Fans did not hide their excitement. Many pointed out that the artists are in excellent shape for their forties and above. The youngest group member is 45 years old, and the oldest is 53. Meanwhile, Kazakhstani admirers asked the Backstreet Boys to return with a new concert as soon as possible.
Steam bathing is a popular form of relaxation in Kazakhstan, sometimes taken to extremes — such as in Kostanay, home to one of Central Asia’s largest sauna complexes.
