Saudi Arabia officially recognizes Kazakh Halal

Kazakhstan’s KazStandard has become the first body in Central Asia to be recognized by Saudi Arabia as fully compliant with the country’s strict Halal requirements.

International level

Now beef, mutton, chicken, dairy products and convenience food of Kazakhstan origin may go directly to the Saudi Arabian market without additional limitations and barriers.

«For us, this is not just international recognition, but confirmation of the quality of the work carried out by the Kazakhstani Halal system,» Malik Saulebay, CEO of RSE KazStandard, said.

Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s largest and most demanding Halal markets.
