The showcase comes after a previous incident in Moscow, when the AI robot Aidol fell during its official presentation, becoming an internet meme.
Meanwhile, Chinese developers from Xpeng presented their human-like Iron, an android that some even mistook for a human because its movements were so natural on stage.
In Kazakhstan, students in 8th and 9th grades at Burabay IT Bil presented their dancing robot at the Astana First Regional 2025, and a video of it quickly went viral on KazNet.
The humanoid robot race is set to intensify next year, as Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced plans to build an army of Optimus bots in 2026.
