The Trump administration has introduced a new program, the «Trump Gold Card,» designed to fast-track U.S. residency for foreign nationals and company-sponsored workers. The initiative is one of the administration’s most significant recent immigration policies. Qualified applicants pay a $1 million fee, or $2 million for company sponsorship, with processing handled through trumpcard.gov and requiring a $15,000 processing fee and background check, CNN reported.

The website explains that applicants who complete the requirements — including an interview and any additional State Department fees — could receive permanent residency within weeks. Successful applicants would be placed in the EB-1 or EB-2 employment-based visa categories, which are intended for individuals with exceptional skills or achievements.

The administration also previewed a forthcoming «Trump Platinum Card,» expected to cost $5 million. This tier would allow approved foreign nationals to spend up to 270 days per year in the U.S. without being taxed on their foreign income.

Officials say the program represents a major strategic shift from the current EB-5 investor visa to generate substantial new federal revenue.

This initiative comes as the administration imposes additional restrictions on both legal and unauthorized immigration following a recent attack in Washington, D.C. Officials maintain that the new system will prioritize highly skilled or «extraordinary» applicants over those entering through traditional routes.
