Authorities in Mississippi have arrested a Texas woman accused of tampering with packaged bread by inserting razor blades at two Walmart locations in Biloxi, the Associated Press reported.

Police identified the suspect as Camille Benson, 33, who faces a charge of attempted mayhem. She is being held on a $100,000 bond, according to the Biloxi Police Department.

The investigation began after customers reported finding razor blades inside loaves of bread purchased at a Walmart Supercenter and a nearby Walmart Neighborhood Market in early December. Following complaints, store employees examined the bread shelves and discovered multiple loaves that appeared altered.

Law enforcement was alerted on Monday and launched an inquiry, which led to Benson’s arrest. Police later asked anyone who recently bought bread from the affected stores to check the products and contact authorities if they found anything unusual.

Walmart said it immediately removed and inspected all potentially affected items at its Biloxi stores and is fully cooperating with investigators. The company advised customers to dispose of any tampered products and seek a refund. Police said there is no indication that other Walmart locations were affected and reported no injuries related to the case.
