Furthermore, the governor of the Abai region Berik Uali stated that every Kazakhstani poet or writer can come to Semey and stay at the hotel free of charge for 10 days while working on their literary works.

«Semey is the birthplace of Abai, the founder of Kazakh written literature. We approached Mr. Syrymbek Tau with a request to allocate a hotel room for writers so they could come to Semey and complete their literary works. The request was granted,» Uali said.

According to the official website, Pana Boutique Hotels is Kazakhstan’s first chain of boutique hotels for business trips and family vacations. However, booking costs at the Semey hotel have not been disclosed.
