Timothée Chalamet has amused his fans with an unusual advertising stunt for the film «Marty Supreme,» in which he stars.
The 29-year-old actor appeared atop the Sphere venue in Las Vegas. In a video posted on Instagram, Chalamet is seen standing at the very top of the structure and shouting that the film will be released on Dec. 25, 2025, while the venue itself was transformed into a giant table tennis ball.
This marked the first time a person had climbed to the top of the Sphere since it opened in 2023. The event was part of a large-scale promotional campaign by A24. Sphere Studios and Cash App also participated in the project. The latter also released a limited-edition card featuring film-related symbols, including table tennis rackets and the «Marty Supreme» logo, People reported.
This is not the first time Chalamet has promoted a film in an unconventional way. Recently, he appeared on «The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon» accompanied by performers dressed in oversized table tennis ball costumes. The host described the campaign as one of the most striking in cinema.
According to the actor, «Marty Supreme» is a film about dreams and self-sacrifice. Chalamet says the story resonates deeply with him and is especially important for young people. The film encourages viewers to believe in themselves and not give up.
The film follows Marty Mauser, a young man who dreams of becoming a world champion in table tennis, despite the fact that almost no one believes in him. The film is directed by Josh Safdie. The cast also includes Gwyneth Paltrow and Fran Drescher.
