
Coca-Cola’s famous New Year truck caravan is set to return to Kazakhstan this holiday season, continuing a tradition recognized worldwide.
The company announced that the illuminated trucks will hit the road beginning Dec. 25, traveling through four major cities: Almaty, Astana, Shymkent and Aktobe. Detailed routes for each city are available on Coca-Cola’s Instagram page.
Almaty
In Almaty, the Coca-Cola caravan will follow its main route on Dec. 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30. An alternative route is scheduled for Dec. 28.
Astana
In the capital city, the caravan will operate along the primary holiday route on Dec. 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30, switching to an alternative route on Dec. 28.
Shymkent
In Shymkent, the trucks will travel the main route on Dec. 25, 26, 27, 29 and 30. An alternative route is planned for Dec. 28.
Tracking the trucks in real time
Fans can also follow the trucks’ movements online using the 2GIS navigation app. By selecting their city and adding the truck as a «friend,» users can enable notifications to receive real-time updates on the caravan’s location.
A global holiday tradition
Coca-Cola’s New Year truck caravan debuted in 1995 as part of the brand’s holiday advertising campaign and quickly became a global symbol of the season. The trucks have been touring cities across Kazakhstan for several years, with documented appearances dating back to at least 2022.
